Gene2geneproduct file

The gene2geneproduct file should contain all genes, ie "A region (or regions) that includes all of the sequence elements necessary to encode a functional transcript. A gene may include regulatory regions, transcribed regions and/or other functional sequence regions." (definition from the SO).
- This means that in addition to protein-coding genes, the file can include non-coding RNAs, micro RNAs, etc.
