Invitation to annotation camp

Dear X,

I am a curator with the Gene Ontology Consortium and I was given your e-mail address by Y. Would it be possibe for you to give me some information on Z organism bioinformatics?

I understand that your community has just [insert information about staus of genomics here e.g. sequenced the Z organism genome] and I wondered if your group might be interested in beginning to annotate gene products to the Gene Ontology. We are currently planning a course to help new groups who are starting to contribute annotations and I wondered if somebody in your group would be interested in attanding? The course will be in [insert date and location].
