Judy Blake - Sea Urchin Group

Judy Blake has been in touch with a sea urchin group who would like to start submitting annotations.

Some details from the original statement:

"I thought of giving a talk about GO annotation we did at the coming sea urchin meeting. It was done electronically. The GO terms were adopted from GLEAN homologs in only human, mouse, fly, zebra fish, worm and frog. It involves 22,184 GLEAN predictions and a total of 180,658 GO links. On our web site only GOs of Biological Processes are displayed. If there is no other plan to do GO annotation and there is no objection from the sea urchin community, it can be moved to the GO database."

Sol Genomics Network database

Naama Menda of the Sol Genomics Network database wrote to say that their annotations are now in gene association file format and I have asked her to contact Tanya Berardini and Pankaj Jaswal to discuss how she is going to submit the annotations.
