Review Documentation Feedback from GOC Meeting
- Main points:
- 'has input' and 'has output' are meant to capture specific, biologically relevant entities
- the overall goals are to: 1) continue to develop a biological knowledgebase of interconnected entities and 2) capture specificity beyond what is currently in the ontology
- Please help to provide additional examples as you come across them, especially for cases that we may not have covered already.
- A note on ChEBI: if you use ChEBI to capture chemical entities, you may want to confirm classification(s) both in ChEBI and GO. Rhea is also an excellent resource.
