Cross-products (logical definitions).

NEW:

MANAGEMENT OF EXTERNAL CROSS PRODUCT FILES IS CHANGING. See Ontology_extensions

The best place to start would be the GO Cross-Product Documentation or the Cross Product Guide.

The Logical_Definitions page has a lot of info, but may be out of date in places.

The cross-product wiki pages for any particular xp combination are normally named XP: <<base ontology>> xp <<extended with>>. The base ontology is the ontology for which XP defs are being created

Cross-products are not equivalent to inter-ontology links. For details of these see Category:Function-Process

Cross-Product Extensions of the Gene Ontology Journal of Biomedical Informatics 2010. Christopher J. Mungall and Michael Bada and Tanya Z. Berardini and Jennifer Deegan and Amelia Ireland and Midori A. Harris and David P. Hill and Jane Lomax
