Should not have a development ancestor, as not all cell morphogenesis is developmental for ss orgs. See anatomical structure formation (recently obsoleted) - think it's the same issue. See also cell part morphogenesis terms, and developmental maturation terms.

e.g. mitochondrial morphogenesis is not part of developmetn. We also wondered whether the term anatomical structure formation involved in morphogenesis is no longer required in light of the recent changes.

Behaviour

Split into multicellular and cellular behaviour. Perhaps remove cellular behaviour altogether - as seems to confuse people? The multicellular term should mention central nervous system in its def. Should exclude plants in def (CNS would do this). [Jane & Val]

cell morphogenesis

Should not have a development ancestor, as not all cell morphogenesis is developmental for ss orgs. See anatomical structure formation (recently obsoleted) - think it's the same issue. See also cell part morphogenesis terms, and developmental maturation terms. e.g. mitochondrial morphogenesis is not part of developmetn. We also wondered whether the term anatomical structure formation involved in morphogenesis is no longer required in light of the recent changes.
