Guidelines for protein binding (GO:0005515 & children)

  • Subclasses of GO:0005515 protein binding (including GO:0044877 protein-containing complex binding) should represent general classes of proteins, not specific proteins.
  • New subclasses of GO:0044877 protein-containing complex binding should correspond to a subclass of GO:0032991 protein-containing complex.
