Agenda

  • Thermosensory Pathway in C. elegans
    • Initial entry point for LEGO: sensation of temperature change and signaling pathway to transmit this information
    • Upstream: cell fate acquisition of neurons involved
    • Upstream: assembly and organization of subcellular structures (e.g. cilium, microvilli) that mediated sensory perception
    • Downstream: how perception of stimulus and subsequent signaling leads to change in cellular and organismal behavior, e.g. increased transcription of specific mRNAs or taxis, respectively
    • Also, review Phenotype2GO-based annotations, as well as Anatomy Term functions, in WB to see how they map onto the LEGO model
    • Also, review ontology for coverage of specific steps in overall process
