Agenda

• LEGO. Can we have a discussion about how might best proceed with this work. We need to decide what things need to happen, by who and in what order. At the moment it's slipping between the cracks.

• Apoptosis. Paola has sent a list of gps recommended for reannotation to the PIs. Any questions about that, does it look reasonable?

• Some curators have asked if there will be breakout sessions on the Friday PM of the GOC meeting. There are probably several that could be arranged (annotation issues, ontology, annotation extension...), shall we formalise this by scheduling breakout sessions throughout the afternoon and advertising this to the attendees?

Discussion

• We have some examples in SVN. We need more. We also need two people annotating blindly. The examples in SVN are not annotation examples, they are more of the models. We need to express existing biology examples using protege/Heiko's tool. We need some guidelines for building these examples. May be we can use cellcycle as an example and draw it out? Should we have a breakout session to train people to use Protege? For now we will have people who have experience with Protege do this task. We will then build a tool so all curators can do this? Is this going to be part of CAT? This won't be part of Version 1 of CAT, may be Version 2. Ideally you would want to see the LEGO diagram when you start annotating, and then start filling holes in the diagram with new evidence.

• We should definitely have a session for col-16 (both beginners and experienced curators)

• GOC website reorg- Rachael and Rama have started going through the pages on the public GOC site and categorized them (on google drive) as keep, move to wiki, delete, and archive. They will share the doc with the managers.
