Decision by Michelle is not to have a Users meeting
User meeting, 3 half days
From last meeting, users preference were:
- enrichment analysis
- data access and integration
- hands-on, jupyter notebooks
- ontology
- curation
If it is up to a general audience, then we can customize it however we want. What do we want to communicate to a broader audience? Laurent-Philippe will contact Michelle.

Started working on agenda
Kimberly: Maybe we can ping groups to send people to meeting now that it’s virtual.
Discussion of “142” species
additional species:
defer to next week
what about viral?
Signor
Signor import may be at the point where the import could be evaluated
GO Rules and responsible parties
Are people looking at GO summary table?
What about not-implemented rules?
Who is responsible for first-level triage for rule violations?
Pascale/Paul/Suzi: AspGD has some capacity bandwidth issues.
Judy: Maybe urgency needs to be marked better? Do we need more funding for this?
Pascale: do these species need to be prioritized?
Paul: isn’t fixing issues part of the agreement for being “active”?
What do we mean by “taking on” annotations from groups that are no longer active?
What do UniProt AspGD annotations look like against AspGD’s?
Are we being clear about expectations for what happens when groups can no longer support their annotations?
Pascale: I can easily spend a couple of days on updating/triaging on a concept per species.
PaulT: How would we fund this going forward?
Judy: Maybe we need to swing back to time for literature curation for future grants?
