Questions for MOD curators
Biological Process
Human DNA Pol alpha
- Question:Is it still appropriate to have 2 NOT annotations and 1 positive annotation to GO:0000731 "DNA synthesis involved in DNA repair"?
- Curator answer: Insert answer here.
Mouse and Human PolD1
- Question: Please double check the human GO:0006297 "nucleotide-excision repair, DNA gap filling" annotation and the mouse GO:0006287 "base-excision repair, gap-filling" annotation in light of the annotation in the other organism. Can you come to an agreement about whether it should be "base" or "nucleotide" excision repair?
- Curator answer: There is evidence for both in human. I have updated the annotations to reflect this from PMID:20227374 (NER) and PMIDs:10559260 and 10559261 (BER)
Questions for ontology curators
Molecular Function
- Question: Should GO:0003887 "DNA-directed DNA polymerase activity" has_part GO:0003677 "DNA binding"?
- Curator answer: Insert answer here.
