Guidelines

1. Try to select related genes (same pathway, same disease)
2. Check that the gene is not already done

Disease genes

• OMIM Morbid Map
• RGD disease portal
• PharmGKB
• G2D
• Drosophila & human disease

Conserved Human-E.coli

• list of genes is in the 'Suggestions' spreadsheet (look for the "conserved Hs-Ec" sheet)
• enter the ensemble ID in YOGY
• find the UniProt ID from the YOGY summary tables
• check the 'master list' to make sure the gene has not previously been selected
