RefGenome source in recent PAINT GAFs (Karen)
Harold reports that in this week's load of annotations from PAINT, we got a lot of errors due to the invalid source "RefGenome". Here is a sample svn log of the last two log entries for four of the five families (PTHR10000, PTHR10003, PTHR10005, PTHR10012, PTHR10013) I've checked (PTHR10003 had an additional entry indicating reannotation by Pascale in between these two entries by suzi):
bash-3.2$ svn log PTHR10013/PTHR10013.gaf ------------------------------------------------------------------------ r29623 | suzi | 2015-11-06 20:19:03 -0800 (Fri, 06 Nov 2015) | 3 lines Rollback of accidently committed touchup run ------------------------------------------------------------------------ r29057 | suzi | 2015-10-06 09:43:15 -0700 (Tue, 06 Oct 2015) | 2 lines Revised families for PANTHERv10
This file contains all 1423 lines from the MGI specific PAINT file that contain the source "RefGenome": File:20151116-gene association.paint mgi-RefGenomeLines.txt
Notes for families that were split (Karen)
PTHR23431 - FAMILY NOT NAMED (76 sequences) is listed in the PAINT family nodes statistics spreadsheet with the note "GAF file only".
This family used to be part of PTHR23413, which was 60S RIBOSOMAL PROTEIN L32 AND DNA-DIRECTED RNA POLYMERASE II, SUBUNIT N when I committed it in November 2013. Now that it has been split, the notes I wrote for the family, including all the parts about the RNAP II clade, are associated only with the original family PTHR23413, while the new family for the RPB10 subunit of RNAP II has now lost those notes.
Could we put some process in place to better deal with these situations?
