Transcription Annotation Guidelines and Review

  • Pascale and Ruth will review updated transcription annotation guidelines
  • Please review annotation guidelines for transcription and add comments/questions, if needed
  • As part of this work, some InterPro2GO mappings and PANTHER families are being reviewed; we will wait for another few weeks while these updates trickle through before assigning more annotations to review
  • Will review transcription models in GO-CAM to include with the annotation guidelines; this may lead to some review and updates to existing production GO-CAMs

  • Giulia and Helen are reviewing the planar cell polarity (PCP) pathway and corresponding area of the ontology
  • If anyone has an interest in this area, please let them know
  • They are planning to contact, and work with, experts in this area, as the PCP pathway is quite involved and has evolved since the initial representation in GO
