GO-Rhea-Reactome Alignment

  • Will work with Rhea group to align GO-Reactome-Rhea
  • How best to coordinate with software group?
    • Chris recommends doing as much upfront work as possible
  • these xrefs can go stale - what should our SOP be for keeping them up-to-date?
  • xrefs could be injected as part of the ontology file pipeline and don't necessarily need to be stored in go-edit.obo
  • with every Reactome release, there would be an updated set of xrefs to GO and GO could then update their ontology file
  • Reactome does try to make the most granular xrefs to GO at the time of curation; but some xrefs will still be multi-valued
  • AI: Create a dataflow diagram. (Chris)
