Positively regulates

A sub-relation of regulates

Note that whilst the parent relation is transitive_over part_of, this does not hold for positively_regulates (or its converse, negatively_regulates). However, this still holds for the parent relation. For example:

If:

• A positively_regulates B
• B part_of C

then:

• A regulates C

This is because if A positively_regulates B, then it is also the case that A regulates B, and regulates is transitive_over part_of
