The has been a general decrease in requests for new ontology terms from the Reference Genomes Group. We are trying to understand if this has occurred because the number of new terms being required based on Reference Genome Annotation has decreased, or if there are barriers to term requests that need to be addressed. Could you please comment on this from the perspective of your genome?
Possible explanations
- new strategy for choosing target genes includes genes just curated; presumably the ontology has already been repaired for those
Documentation: publications metrics
Mouse and Chicken have not completed the Summary of how each group is completing the publications metrics on [Reference_Genome_Publication_Counts]. Could you guys try to do this soon.
