Overview

The 'enabled by' relation is used to relate a GO Molecular Function to a gene or gene product, e.g. protein kinase activity 'enabled by' MAPK1. This indicates that the molecular activity described by the GO term is executed by the gene or gene product.

• In GO-CAM models, the 'enabled by' relation is used for all associations between an MF and a gene or gene product.
