Overview
The 'is active in' relation is used to relate a gene or gene product to the GO Cellular Component in which the gene or gene product enables its Molecular Function, e.g. ced-3 'is active in' cytosol. This indicates that the ced-3 gene product executes its molecular function in the cytosol.
Examples of Usage
- In gene annotation files, the 'is active in' relation is used for associations between a gene or gene product and a Cellular Component.
