December Alliance All Hands Meeting
- Anything managers should be aware of ?
- (Pascale): there were nice talks about Agile management process that many groups are now using.
- What we are doing has many elements: product owners, defining specs, approving specs by scrum managers (PIs), etc
- Main differences:
- projects are smaller: 2-3 weeks
- 'timeboxing': tasks are evaluated, either in term of hours/FTEs, or 'units'. People seem to prefer units. We make a scale, small tasks need 1 unit, larger 2, etc. If the units get too big the project probably need to be split up
- Other points ?

Announce that the SVN is dead
Kim from Pombase was still using SVN to get the xrefs - https://github.com/geneontology/go-site/issues/1570 We need to communicate better- annotation calls and GO meetings are not enough.
- How about we announce it on the GO-announcement repo and go-friends, and maybe tweet/facebook the 'new' download/legacy download addresses ?
