Doug Howe is the Principle GO Curator We have 8 other curators primarily involved with GO as literature curation tool.
No direct support from GOC NIHGRI grant is provided.
As lead GO curator, Doug spends ~0.75FTE on GOC tasks including general literature curation, Ref Genome curation, ontology development, community support, etc. Other curators use the GO primarily for GO and phenotype curation and commit ~0.05-0.10FTE of their time on that task.
